Clarity

An old friend said this to me today,

"Your habit is thinking too much when you already know the answer."

It knocked some much needed sense into me. Maybe it's because I am growing old. Maybe I am just confusing myself by making things overly complicated. Or maybe I am just not as passionate as I used to be anymore.

I miss when I was younger and I was always the one being stupidly confident, passionate and clear of how to reach my dream of being a great game developer along with my friends.

I really hope it is not too late to get back on the right track.

Why?

I have always been curious as to why I can't draw with a Wacom. So, I drew something simple on paper and tried replicating the drawing using a Wacom... and failed. Why am I having this problem? Why?!?!?!?!

Maybe I am not used to not seeing the surface that I am drawing on?

Or maybe I am not able to subtly apply the right amount of pressure on the Wacom?

Or is it because I am unable to gauge my digital work space?

Argh! The frustration!

Been 22 months since I last updated this blog. Need to stop being a lazy ass and start replaying this 'game' from the beginning again. Here's hoping to not see the next post appearing 22 months from now.
